Route Master Statement and Route Diagrams
Since the 2025 Saimaa Challenge is located in the city and the competition center is reasonably close to the city center, this year's routes are characterized by more built environments and scenery than in previous years. Despite the proximity to the city center, the routes have been designed to ensure that as much of the movement as possible takes place on surfaces other than asphalt, and to disturb as little as possible.
Saimaan Palju sponsored youth participation for thepduo
The duo formed by Kaisa and Suvi has been selected as the recipient of youth participation sponsored by Saimaan Palju. Like Lauri and Leevi from RajaKarhu, these youngsters are also heading to their first adventure race. In Suvi's words, ”I heard about this adventure from an acquaintance, and it sounded too good to pass up. After mulling over the idea of the adventure for a bit, I decided to throw the idea to Kaisa. Team RajaKarhulle XAMK-sponsored participation
Lauri and Leevi will receive the first free entry to Saimaa Challenge for participants under 23 years old. South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences XAMK is sponsoring the participation of Team RajaKarhu, formed by these two young men, in the longest Extreme series of the competition. The young men have known each other since childhood and did their military service together in Onttola.
